In 1974 she graduated from the Russian Colleage and in 1977 she graduated from University of Fine Arts- department of Photography. For many years she worked as photographer in museums, and illustrated various scientific publications.

She was awarded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture the title “Photographer- Artist” in 1990.

From 1978 up to date, she participated in various international and national exhibitions, presented her work in 15 solo exhibitions and was invited in committees of international and national exhibitions.

In 2000 she formed the group “Marigrafia”. She is member of the Academy of Photography and the Chamber of Craftsmen.

She is a freelance photographer occupied with the advertisment  and scientific fields.
